WELCOME TO 8TH ALTON SCOUT GROUP
From our base on Anstey Park, 8th Alton Scout Group serves the east side of Alton. With not just the park on our doorstep we have a secure compound where we enjoy a host of activities all in the spirit of Scouting.
8th Alton provides Scouting for over 200 young people and consists of 3 Beaver colonies, 2 Cub packs, 2 Scout Troops and we host the Weyfarers Explorer Unit. We are supported by a great team of leaders and adults in a range of capacities.
We are excited by the things that you get get up to while at our Scout Group! Of special interest is that we have kayak instructors, Duke of Edinburgh Awards Assessors, air rifle instructors and hill and mountain leaders; this means that we can often be found out and about.
